EMS Student Makes Threat- March 18

EMS Administrators were made aware of a student who threatened to harm another student at school. The student told his intention to one of our staff members, who acted quickly and notified the Administrators and SRO. The student was quickly removed from the classroom. A search took place of the student and no weapon was found. After investigating the threat, the student who made the threat, was removed from school property by BCSO. Discipline was initiated for this behavior and charges were filed. We sincerely appreciate the quick actions of our staff member who notified our Administrators about this threat. Keeping our students and staff safe is our number one priority. Any type of threat, whether verbal or physical, will be taken seriously and acted upon.

STEM Design Build Challenge Competition

Our EMS 8th graders competed at the BCESC and ThermoFisher STEM competition at Harrison High School on February 22.
